Alex Duggan is the behind-the-scenes mastermind of Amanda’s Easy Eats—though you’ll often find her very much in the scene, perched in the kitchen sink, iPhone in hand, capturing every sizzling, stirring, and slightly chaotic moment. As the unofficial director, DOP, and chief interrogator (her mother would say pest, but with love), Alex brings humour, energy, and a fresh Gen Z sparkle to every episode.
A social media whizz and natural-born content creator, Alex has a flair for knowing exactly what the audience wants—sometimes before they do. Whether it’s a quick cut, a cheeky caption, or a perfectly timed question that drives Amanda up the wall (“Mum, what is a béchamel anyway?”), Alex’s presence has become an essential part of the Easy Eats charm.
She’s also a budding creative cook herself, gradually stepping out from behind the camera to share her own food ideas—often modern twists on the classic Italian recipes Amanda picked up during her travels.
