Episode 1 - Lanterna Blu

In every family there is a fighter, that person that steps up to the plate when things get tough.  Max at Lanterna Blu is the warrior of the Fiorillo family, rescuing the family business from the brink.  His father Toninno is a showman and proud, he went against the better judgment of his family and made some financial decisions that were unsound.  Max was living overseas at the time working and sending money to keep the family restaurant in the coastal town of Imperia afloat when he had to return. “It’s my way or the highway” he told his dad, “you leave out the back door as I enter the front”.  This story strikes a chord with most families, there’s jealousy, anger, humour, humiliation, battles but above all love. The fight for the family to survive has not ended, suing a bank takes time and the Italian justice system is slow. The question is how long the family will be locked in limbo and will love prevail above all else.
