In this episode...

Tuscany once glittered with wealth and splendour, and was ruled by the Medici family, who made Florence the heart of the Italian Renaissance. Whilst Tuscany is famous for its art, it’s also famous for its olive oil and wine. Adam explores the wineries, and discovers which wines match the region’s pasta of choice, pappardelle. The Tuscans traditionally paired pappardelle with various types of game, and Adam cooks some mediaeval recipes to show how easy it is to have a bit of Tuscany in an Australian kitchen.
