Adam's Pasta Pilgrimage
Lombardia
In this episode...
Lombardy is a region with a broad cross-section of terrains: plains to the south, mountains and lakes to the north. The destination for this episode is the lesser-known region of Nebbiolo in Lombardia’s east. To get there, Adam will pass through Milan, Lombardy’s most famous city, a mecca for design and fashion. Adam will peruse the streets of Milan and will also travel to smaller towns, such as Gorgonzola, famous for its blue-veined cheese. Adam learns all about the local wheat and how it was used to create a famous northern pasta dish called Pizzoccheri a rich buttery cheesy recipe.
